Tracks 1-1 and 1-8 originally appeared on the 1989 compilation [m=290961].
Track 1-6 is taken from the [m=77447].
Track 2-1 is taken from the [m=116620] soundtrack.
Track 2-2 is previously unreleased and was recorded on 21 June 1986 for potential inclusion in the album that became [m=329446] but ultimately shelved. It was subsequently recorded and released in 1987 as a single by [a=Patrice Rushen], who would later produce Sheena’s 1993 [m=272017] album.
Track 2-3 is taken from the [m=506363] soundtrack.
Track 2-4 is previously unreleased and was first recorded with writer/producer [a=Keith Diamond] in September 1986 under the working title “Sweet Talk” and subsequently re-recorded with [a=Shep Pettibone] in December 1986 and edited for potential single release.
Track 2-5 is previously unreleased and was recorded on 20 March 1987 in the sessions that became the [m=329446] album and edited for potential single release.
Track 2-7 originally appeared on Sheena’s 1982 album [m=116610] and was released as a single in the Netherlands. It was later remixed on 16 February 1988 for potential UK single release and this 7″ version was included on the 1989 EMI compilation [m=290961].
Track 2-14 originally appeared on US 12″ [r=380832] V-19220 stickered as “The Red Mix” whilst incorrectly named on the label as “Extended Dance Version”.
Track 3-2 is previously unreleased and this 12″ version of the unreleased track from the [m=329446] sessions was prepped for potential single release in June 1986 by [a=Nick Martinelli].
Track 3-3 is previously unreleased and multiple versions of this song were recorded and prepped for single release in 1986, first with writer/producer [a=Keith Diamond] and subsequently with [a=Shep Pettibone] in the sessions that would become the [m=329446] album.
Track 3-4 is previously unreleased and the song that would become the title track of Sheena’s final EMI album was recorded on 20 March 1987 and reworked for potential single release.
Track 3-6 is previously unreleased and this track was remixed on 16 February 1988 for potential single release and subsequently shelved. The edited 7″ version was included on the 1989 EMI compilation [m=290961].
Track 3-15 is previously unreleased and this track was remixed on 16 February 1988 and prepped as part of a potential single release and subsequently shelved.
