Housed in a “slide” cover with radiused corners, with the band picture printed on clear acetate applied to a die-cut window on the front. The white “DOORS” lettering above the window is embossed. The LP comes in a white die-cut paper inner sleeve (also with radiused corners), with a near-replica of the original yellow printed inner sleeve presented as a fold-out insert and wrapped around the inner sleeve. This insert has ornamented corners and provides a yellow background to the cover image when inserted into the sleeve. The back of the insert has a black ‘crucifix’ image.
All runout details are hand etched.
From Rhino Records website: “The 12″ reissue on 180-gram HQ virgin vinyl presents the original stereo mixes, artwork and inner sleeves. The lacquers were cut at Bernie Grundman Mastering in Hollywood, CA under the direct supervision of original Doors producer/engineer Bruce Botnick and Electra Records founder Jac Holzman.”
