The Haeco-CSG (Holzer Audio Engineering Compatible Stereo Generator system)
[m35706] tracks A1, A3, B2, B3, B4 & B5, as well as F5 were produced for the 1968 release with the Haeco-CSG system. Haeco-CSG was intended to make stereo recordings fully compatible with mono playback equipment. The unfortunate side effect was that the CSG process “blurred” the stereo imaging. Using digital audio processing software during remastering has made it possible to reverse this Haeco-CSG effect.
